Welcome to Waypoint Kids!
Every Sunday we have the opportunity to care for kids in nursery through 5th grade and show them the love of Jesus! We are here to partner with families, helping kids love God deeply and follow Jesus with courage and conviction.
In The Classroom
In Waypoint Kids, our PreK and elementary kids explore the Bible through age-appropriate lessons, worship, games, and hands-on activities. Our curriculum follows a three-year scope and sequence that takes kids through the Bible, helping them see how its stories fit together and point to Jesus. Along the way, they learn Scripture, build a strong biblical foundation, and grow in their relationship with God.
Check-in/Check out
Please check in at the tablets located inside the Waypoint Kids building. Waypoint Kid’s check-in begins 15 minutes prior to service. At your first visit, you will be asked to fill out some family information and then your child will be checked in. The check-in process includes a tag with their name, if there’s an allergy, and a letter - number combination to verify that it is your child at pick up.
Drop Off: Please let your child’s teacher know if there are any food allergies or special needs.
Pick Up: Please pick up your child immediately after service and remember the tag for identification to match your child.

Areas to Serve:
PreK Teacher: Lead children ages 2-4 through a simple Bible lesson, worship, play, and hands-on activities.
PreK Helper: Support the teacher, help with activities, and give our children ages 2-4 the care and attention they need.
Elementary Teacher: Guide elementary kids, kinder-5th grade, through worship, Bible teaching, small group discussion, games, and prayer.
Elementary Helper: Partner with the teacher to welcome kids (kinder-5th grade), help with activities, and encourage participation.
KidMin Lead: Help classrooms and volunteers have what they need for a smooth, welcoming Sunday morning.
Event Planning Committee: Meet once a quarter to help plan KidMin’s special events for the following quarter.

Here are a few things you should know…
Bathroom Use: We ask that you have your child use the restroom before class. If they need to use the restroom during class, we will have them go. If you are needed: If your child needs you during service, we will text the phone number provided to let you know. Reasons to alert you: major injury, diaper change, no diapers, clothing change needed, or illness.

Waypoint Kids is designed for all children in our church and our community from birth to 5th grade. Waypoint Kids provides children with opportunities to learn about God in a fun, engaging, and safe environment created just for them.
